The STV Eliminator connects directly to the motorcycle's factory wiring and allows for the complete removal of the secondary throttle valve (Secondary Throttle Valves), including the actuator servomotor, the throttle valves, and their drive shaft.
Secondary throttle valves were introduced on modern motorcycles to comply with emissions and noise regulations. Their operation is controlled by the ECU, which adjusts their opening based on engine operating conditions. To improve performance and achieve a more immediate throttle response, many riders choose to remove this system.
However, disconnecting the servomotor from the main wiring harness causes the FI (Fault Indicator) warning light on the instrument panel to illuminate. The STV Eliminator eliminates this problem by simulating the system's proper operation to the ECU and preventing error codes from appearing.
Note: After installing the product, it is recommended to check the air-fuel ratio (AFR) on a dynamometer and adjust the mapping accordingly, if necessary, to ensure optimal engine performance and reliability.
CAUTION: Verify that the product and wiring are compatible with your engine's model and year.
FEATURES
Device for deactivating the secondary throttle valve.
- Prevents the FI indicator light from coming on when removing the secondary throttle valve (and disconnecting the actuator motor) from your motorcycle.
Plug 'n Go design.
- The Plug 'n Go connector makes installation quick and easy, eliminating the need to modify the motorcycle's original wiring.
The right solution.
- It prevents the FI indicator light from coming on when the electronic throttle actuator is disconnected or the secondary throttle valve is removed from the motorcycle.
Advanced technology.
- The unit is fully sealed and encapsulated in epoxy resin, providing excellent protection for the internal components against impacts, vibrations, and water.
Quick and easy to use.
- Simply disconnect the actuator motor from the main wiring harness. Connect the STV Eliminator, and the unit will function as if the actuator motor were still in place. No wiring or soldering is required, and the motorcycle's wiring remains intact.
A more economical alternative.
- If the actuator motor fails (a common problem on certain motorcycle models), it is much cheaper to replace it with the STVE than to buy a new motor.
Lightweight and compact.
- The STVE unit is about the same size as the actuator motor it replaces.
Built to last.
- Robust construction, encapsulated in epoxy resin.
- Only high-quality SMD components are used.
- Each unit undergoes extensive testing before shipment.
- Oil- and water-resistant (IP68).
