The QSH is the wiring harness that must be connected to the iQSE QuickShifter Easy ( IQSE ) system and the engine's electrical components. Depending on the model, it can be connected to the fuel injectors, the ignition coils, or the crankshaft sensor, allowing the quick shifter to receive the signals necessary for proper operation.
The system works as follows:
- It detects movement of the gearshift lever.
- It momentarily cuts off ignition and/or fuel injection for a few milliseconds.
- It allows for upshifts without using the clutch and without closing the throttle.
Additionally, according to HealTech:
- QSH-Fxx = connects to the fuel injectors.
- QSH-Pxx = connects to the ignition coils.
- QSH-Cxx = connects to the engine's crankshaft position sensor (CKP) and to the quickshifter's main module.
- QSH-Sxx = connects to the ignition coils.
CAUTION: You must verify that the wiring is compatible with your motorcycle's model and year.
