ARAI's Quantic helmet is shaped around protection. Hand-crafted, the PB e-cLc (Peripheral Laminate e-Complex construction) outer shell outlines a sleek, organic shape maintaining the strength of the core, but with a significant reduction in weight. The smooth, round shape is a key Arai signature and is designed primarily to "ricochet" and spread impact forces. Using the aerodynamic and protective capabilities of Arai's racing helmets and all the experience and know-how gained over millions of road miles , the new Quantic glides comfortably and efficiently through the air, wrapping its wearer in a cocoon of luxury.
For easy access above and below the Quantic features a 5mm flap around the base, while the vision visor, the Variable Axis System (VAS) lowers the visor positioning system and yields an average of 24mm extra in both temple areas to create the ideal, smoother shape that increases energy dissipation capacity.
Complete and controlled ventilation is based on approximately 12 ventilation ports. The 3D Arai logo feeds cooling air to two central intake points and works well at low speed, alongside dual tear duct inlets coming from F1, dual vents and dual 2-position, filtered vents. The premium interior is removable and features a Facial Contour System (FCS). It also features an Emergency Release System (ERS). The Quantic model is officially approved and certified to ECE R22-06.
