Tech-Air® 5 is a slim, self-contained airbag vest that can be worn under any Tech-Air compatible motorcycle jacket or any jacket with an available 4cm of space around the rider's chest circumference. Can be worn with Tech-Air® compatible leather jackets as they have built-in leather expansion panels to cover the airbag expansion. In the event that the leather jacket is not Tech-Air® compatible then riders should ensure that there is an extra 4 cm of space around the circumference of the chest in their jackets.

• The state-of-the-art, Tech-Air® 5 vest comes with an active electronic system that features six built-in sensors (3 gyroscopes and 3 accelerometers) and a crash algorithm that utilizes AI technology to accurately monitor when the airbag should be deployed.
• Developed after years of research, with samples of over 50% of the top MotoGP riders, as well as Alpinestars customers, have analyzed riding data from millions of kilometers and thousands of crashes to continuously improve the intelligent collision detection algorithm. Upon detection of a crash or fall situation, a protective airbag is deployed, providing unrivalled rider protection with a maximum inflation time of 20 to 40ms based on the volume of the airbag size.
• Impact absorption results in up to 95% reduction in impact force compared to a passive protector. The Tech-Air® 5 airbag system offers the same protection as that provided by 18 Level 1 back protectors, which is verified by SGS, an official CE certification company, which provides independent verification of product compliance with European personal protection regulations.
• The system is also extremely easy to use, simply zip the vest, close the magnetic flap and you're ready to ride. An LED display indicates the airbag's operating status and the built-in, certified lithium-ion battery has a 30-hour driving time life. The system features a magnetic micro USB charger that allows for quick, easy and convenient recharging.
• The Tech-Air® 5 features Bluetooth connectivity and an accompanying Tech-Air® App, which uses the rider's phone to display the system's operating status, battery status and a detailed breakdown of a ride. System software can also be upgraded directly through the app.
