The X-PLUS 8077 2.0 DETECTO disc brake lock with alarm from ABUS sets standards in terms of quality, protection, and ease of use. It is recommended for securing high-value motorcycles.
The 13.5 mm locking pin, the housing and the structural parts of the locking mechanism are made of special hardened steel. The installed ABUS XPlus cylinder has been specially optimized for protection against break-ins, e.g., attempts to break in with burglars.
The ABUS Detecto XPlus 8077 2.0 initially reacts to movements in the lock with an intelligent pre-alarm. Thanks to 3D position detection, it reliably detects vibrations and the slightest movements in the lock and first activates the smart warning signal, which stops after seven beeps. Only after this and in the event of further movements does the full 100 dB alarm sound for 15 seconds. After the pre-alarm or full alarm, the lock is automatically armed.
The automatic brake disc detection system knows exactly when the lock for securing the motorcycle is on the disc or not. This means that it can be easily transported locked without triggering the alarm function. Different colored LEDs provide information about the activity and battery status at a glance.
The package includes a carrying bag, two keys, and two AAA batteries.
