Our Story
It all started with one man’s passion. Stavros Papastavrou turned his hobby into a profession, creating the first specialized motorcycle and rider accessories store in Greece, located in Korydallos. At the time, the market mainly consisted of repair shops and motorcycle dealerships, with very limited options for specialized gear outside official distributors.
Success came quickly, leading to the opening of a second store in 1998 on Kallirrois Street. The growing demand soon resulted in a third store on Acharnon Street, confirming the company’s strong momentum.
In 2009, the economic crisis in Greece brought challenges—but also opportunities. Responding to market needs, we created the first motorcycle accessories bazaar in Greece, in an 850 sq.m. space on Petrou Ralli. From the very first days, its success was remarkable, making it one of the most important stores in the Balkans.
This success led to a strategic decision: consolidating our operations into larger, more specialized locations. The stores in Korydallos and Acharnon were replaced by a new, state-of-the-art store in Thessaloniki, capable of serving not only the city but all of Northern Greece.

In 2024, we took another major step forward by relocating to a new, larger space, creating our flagship concept store. Today, Papastavrou Shops serves not only Thessaloniki and Northern Greece, but also markets across the Balkans and Turkey, further strengthening our position as leaders in the motorcycle industry.
